For those Prayer Warriors who stood on the wall for me concerning the entering into eternity of my Father. I want to thank you from the depths of my heart. God heard and answered your prayers. Here is the test and testimony that came from and through the struggle.
I watched Collateral Beauty tonight. It is a Phenomenal movie and I would encourage you to see it if you have not.
It takes God to take a tragic/negative situation and turn it into a positive one. Only HE can do that.
This is what God did for me to reveal HIS Collateral Beauty!
Prayerfully, God will use this video to minister healing and wholeness to you in the midst of the situation you are in.
The 2 keys are:
Choose to forgive because you cannot get the time back that unforgiveness steals.
Choose to stop playing the blame game because it is designed for us to lose.

Hello Women of Valour,
This is a first and hopefully not the last time for this ministry to be used in this way. I am reaching out to you all because a sister is REALLY in need of prayer and $$$.
Place yourself in her shoes. If not for the grace of God this could be you or I. Prayer still works and God still uses people to help other people. Every little bit helps. Don't say I only have $2 or $12 or $22. The little will add up to make the much. Do not allow yourself to talk you out of helping which is easy to do. Follow through and actually help. Would you want the person to talk themselves out of helping you or would you want them to actually pray and give.
My prayer for each person that reads this post is for God's promises to manifest in your life as you give through prayers and/or money to help this family. I am asking the Holy Spirit to tug on hearts right now.

Well, this post is being written to lift "our" spirits.
This picture is God speaking to us right now in this moment.
Take these words to heart!!!
You may be contemplating suicide right now.
You may be down to your last dime and don't know how you are going to make it into the next day or hour.
You may be thinking about how bad your life is right now
You may be angry at your present life and scared right now
You may be fearful of what is going to happen next
You may be scared to take the next step even if it is a good thing.
You may be feeling the loss of a family member or child or friend
You may be sad right now because of some wrong choices you have made
You may be angry because of some things that have been done to you
You may have suffered a loss of a family member/child during this season and brings back feelings of pain or hurt or loss.
But I am here to let you know and remind myself that: We cannot give up it; is not an option. You WILL come through your storm. We are needed and wanted by Someone. God loves us in this moment and He is right there with us. He wants us to reach out to HIM in this moment. He wants to walk and help us through this moment. Now I have to walk out the Self Talk Series in my own life. One decision...

I just found out today that my biological father passed and I do NOT know how to feel about it but there are two things that do I KNOW and UNDERSTAND!!!

Note: Jacob's name means Deceiver. In Chapter 27, Jacob steals his brother's blessing. Jacob had to decide to forgive his brother. We have to decide some things in our lives as well in order to walk out what God has for each one of us. God was watching over Esau just as HE is watching over us. God is NOT surprised by what surprises us.
In verse 40 Isaac tells Esau his firstborn son,
"You will live by the sword,
and you will serve your brother.
BUT WHEN YOU DECIDE TO BREAK FREE,
you will shake his yoke from your neck." NLT (emphasis added)
The Message Bible says,
...BUT WHEN YOU CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE
you'll break loose and run free.
We have to decide to break free!
No one can decide for you!

In the Dallas Ravens football game tonight, they were in a battle. The Ravens had the upper hand seemingly because they had beat the Cowboys 4 times straight. The Cowboys were in the underdog position because they had lost 4 straight games to this team.
Potential Ravens Perspective: This is going to be an easy win because we have beat them 4 times in the past. (1st snapshot below)
Potential Cowboys Perspective: We can just fold because we CANNOT beat this team. Then their mindset would be a self-fulfilling prophesy. (2nd snapshot below)
Reality check for both teams: We are in a brand new battle and this is a new game. We (either team) cannot take this lightly.
This is the same way we have to face our battles in life. We face challenges each and every day. We are beat up by our challenges many times but WE CAN"T GIVE UP!!!

The thing that we believe will kill us
is the VERY thing that makes us stronger and
who we are meant to be.
The Holy Spirit hit me with this thought: God takes our Trash and turns it into Treasure. As I looked up pictures and images about trash to treasure I saw that the title of this blog post is the motto for recycling. God takes the things about us that we know and believe are jacked up and HE transforms them into something that He can use for HIS glory and our good.
You may ask: 'What Trash?' The trash of our 'stinking thinking' as Joyce Meyer says. It is also our attitudes, motives, and actions toward ourselves and life.
YOUR thought processes/mindsets matters the most.
(Proverbs 23:7)
God Himself gave life to us through Jesus Christ. (John 10:10) People can speak life to us. They can lay hands on us and pray for us. They can even cast out demonic forces. But, we can:
choose to go back into the same mess
choose not to believe or receive what the Holy Spirit says or has done within us
then nothing changes and we stay the same: miserable and disgusted within ourselves
I know because I lived there for years. Altar call after alter call, many hands laid upon my head, many conferences, many attended Bible studies but still no changes because I just wanted the transformation without my participation. (Can anyone identify?)
TESTIMONY: I was asked to take out two bags of trash which I did. When I did, I saw the plastic green trash can sitting beside our building full of trash. So, I rolled it over to the dumpster. When I fully opened it; there were baby diapers in a trash bag which had been torn. The stench was _________________. Let's just say it was NASTY!!! So, I had to maneuver the bags until all of them were in the dumpster. The more bags I lifted the nastier the smell became. I came to realize that the bags as well as the trash can itself was filthy. The trash can could NOT empty itself; it needed help. It had to be brought to the dumpster and emptied. It was a willing participant. (Read on we are going somewhere with this.)
God brought that picture to me of emptying the trash as I started writing this blog. Our sins are NASTY to God. If you know how a diaper hamper smells it was worse than that. God wants to clean us out but HE has given us free will as HIS children to ask for HIS help and choose. When you ask HE is going to do EXCEEDINGLY MORE.
We have three options:
1) We can either sit there and complain while still being full of trash.
2) We can be close to dumping the trash in our mindsets but never fully get there without some help.
3) We can choose to participate in the process of God's transformation process within our lives.
Where does our help come from?
It comes from
OUR Father,
HIS Word,
Us speaking, and
people speaking into our lives
the truth about who we really are.
You may ask, How do I participate? You participate by asking the Holy Spirit to help you.
You can read a devotional like Our Daily Bread which references the Bible. (This is something simple that will go a long way if you start practicing it.)
You can Google things in the Bible that you are dealing with like shame, depression, unloved, hopeless, etc.
You can download the You Version Bible App to read the Bible. (Phone, Tablet,or Computer)
You can start speaking what you are reading in the Bible about love, hope, peace, joy, etc. about you.
You can start coming against the lies you have believed by speaking the truth.
You can find a church and Bible Study in your area.
You can get around other like minded people. (The ones that you can fellowship with to help build you up instead of keep/hold you down.
You have been holding you down for far too long and allowing the enemy, satan, to do the same.
You need the HOLY SPIRIT!!!YOU CANNOT DO THIS ALONE!!!

I have tried it many times.
When I thought about the trash can, it did not resist going to the dumpster. I thought about how many times I have resisted. My sinful self does not want to be transformed but my spiritual self does. Therefore, I have learned and understand that we can resist God's transforming power in our lives. It is called freewill.
Let's start with my attitude. My attitude was nasty toward God, people, and life in general. My thinking and I was nasty just like the trash can. I was torn and the deeper I dug the nastier I became. BUT Jesus came in and started cleaning up this trash can/house/temple. HE started with the torn parts of me and then continued to dig until the mess was gone. I am not telling you something I read in a book but what I have lived through and now have the victory.
God wants to clean out the torn parts of you and dig into the depths of the hurt/shame/painful parts of you. Many times it will hurt and bring about more hurt as HE walks you through the messes of your NASTY attitudes and thoughts to discover the answers to:
Why am I seeing myself as worthless?
Why am I mad at the world?
Why am I disgusted with me?
Why am I holding everyone else accountable/blaming everyone but me?
Why am I blaming only myself and no one else?
Why am I still in the relationship I know is going no where?
Why am I still holding onto grudges from a year, 5 years, 10 years ago?
Why am I still blaming myself/God for things not going right in my life?
I played ALL of these mental games and they led me to build up walls around myself that I honestly believed were protecting me. Self protection is not protection. The Holy Spirit has since taught me that the ONLY One who can actually protect me is My Daddy, God. HE is also the ONLY One who can protect you.
Can I tell you that there is a new aroma. I WAS MEAN and NASTY. People that know me now say they cannot imagine that. This means that the change was NOT orchestrated by Andrea but by JESUS the Christ. I can change my behavior for a time but true transformation can ONLY come from and through Christ Jesus. HE is my new aroma. But I had to participate in the process and so do you.
How do you see yourself? When you look in the mirror, Do you see a Treasure or do you see Trash? You may not say, "I am trash." But your thought processes are trash if you say to yourself:
You will never do or be ____________________.
No one will ever love me.
I can't lose the weight
I will always have this problem
I will always be overweight
I will always be unlovable
I will never own my own home
I will never get married (again)
I will never have children
I will always be on the outside looking in
I will never be apart
I will never fit in
I will always be an outsider
I will always blame God for taking my Mother, Father, child, etc
I will always be alone or lonely
I will always be ugly
I will never conquer this addiction
Never and Always statements followed by a negative statement is never good. I can tell you that I have experience in most of these lies.
Stop allowing fear to stop you
from showing the world

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Have you ever heard or watched a program or movie and just could not wait to share it? Well, this is where I find myself tonight. God has met me this night. I was invited by Cryss, one of the hosts of No-Tea with Chrita and Cryss to listen in on their show. These two ladies are phenomenal in their own right. But they had some women on the show that were equally phenomenal.
These women have been through hell. These women were speaking LIFE out of their death situations about being held captive and how Jesus set them free. Their stories are ones of Victim to Victor. I am working on the Self Talk Series book which is also our identity in Christ. As I am writing, The Holy Spirit is showing me how the enemy deceives and tricks us. He wants us to believe his lies instead of God's truth. His game/goal has NOT changed since Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.
I was watching this video on our WOV YouTube Channel. I thought I had published this particular video but I had not. It is for you if you have NOT heard that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL today!!! It is also for you just to confirm the fact that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL today!!! This is according to Genesis 1: 26. The Self Talk Series blog I was working on was: "Remember Who You Are."
I am FED UP with the enemy telling us repeatedly that we are ugly. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
NOTE: The TRUTH will set you free but you must participate and choose to believe it. Begin or continue to speak life to you until the truth manifests in your heart, mind, and eyesight. Speak the Word of God to you in the mirror. You need to see yourself speaking it and hear yourself saying it.
The TRUTH that I speak of can only be found in and through Jesus the Christ and God's Word. If you have accepted and received Jesus as your Savior then this blog post is for you.
If you have not or you have been on the fence about accepting Christ, Today can be your day. Pray this simple prayer to receive Jesus Christ into your heart.
PRAYER: Holy Spirit, I need a Savior, Jesus Christ. I openly confess that I am a sinner and need a Savior. I am asking You to forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart. As I am confessing with my mouth and believing in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Lord who came to this earth, died, and was resurrected on the third day. I choose today to receive you into my heart according to Romans 10: 9 - 10. I choose to trust you with my life.

God is going to transform your life as you participate with HIM. Please do not keep it a secret. God loves you and I do too! WELCOME to the family!!! How many times have you thought or spoken these words: I trust you, Lord!!!
It is easy to say because it just rolls off the tongue. Especially, when we are in church type settings. It is the 'go to' statement when we are going through something.
I am going through _______________, But I trust You, Lord to work it out.
But then when we get in our alone time with just us and the mask comes off. Then worry, questions, and doubt quickly move in. Finally, we try and figure it out. We turn to friends, family, and maybe even enemies.
But 'WE TRUST GOD!' Right?
Prayerfully, you will find "you" somewhere in my testimony. Maybe God will reveal or has revealed where "you" were through this testimony. Wherever "you" find yourself PRAISE God because this is GOOD NEWS!!! Please keep reading. You are in the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time.
TESTIMONY: The Holy Spirit has been digging up some things within me that I did not know were there. The main one is a lack of trust of and in the Lord. I said with my mouth I was trusting in God to make the Air Force Reserves a reality for me. But I REALLY was not in my heart of hearts. (Read blog post: With God ALL things are Possible.) I am learning to trust God in more areas of my life. Trust me when I say it is a battle within me. I have trusted in my ways longer than I have in My Daddy's ways. The Holy Spirit is teaching me that just because I say the words: 'I trust You, Lord' doesn't mean that I actually do. This is a hard pill to swallow because I thought I was doing okay in the trust arena. In some areas, I was and am but there are other areas not so much.
The Holy Spirit has and is showing me that my lack of trust still does not hinder or stop the hand of God. I was wavering from trust to doubt each week. Sometimes it was a daily struggle. The Air Force Reserves has given me a new arena in which to trust God. I have to trust HIM even more for my safety and protection. I do not know what the future holds. But I do KNOW the One who holds the future in HIS hands. These are words that I am still wrapping my mind and heart around. But I do KNOW 2 things:
My Daddy's, God's, WORDS to me are truth and life.
My Daddy, God, has the best plan for my life. (Even when I can't see it.)
The Holy Spirit led me to God's Word.
I Corinthians 1:30
God has united you (Andrea) with Christ Jesus.
For our (Andrea) benefit.
God made HIM (Christ) to be wisdom itself.
Christ made us (Andrea) right with God; HE made us (Andrea) pure and holy, and HE freed us (Andrea) from sin.
I have read this verse numerous times over the years but this time the Holy Spirit taught me about my identity.
God has untied me with Christ. (Identity and Oneness)
I am one with Christ. (Ephesians 2:19)
My identity is in Christ.
God made HIM (Christ) to be wisdom itself. (Wise)
I have wisdom because I have Christ in me. (Colossians 2:3)
I am wise because of Christ.
Christ made me right with God. (Righteousness)
I am righteous because of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
I can come boldly into the throne of God.
Christ made me pure and holy. (Holiness)
I am holy because of Christ. (I Thessaloninas 4:3 - 7)
My holiness is NOT dependent upon me but who Christ has made me to be.
Christ made me free from sin. (Freedom)
I have been set free from the prison and power of sin. (Mark 10:45)
I am free and choose to walk in my freedom in Christ.

Women of Valour, ALL of these applies to you as well. This is who you are in Christ. Our Father does NOT have favorites. Your past is just that Your past. You cannot change it and neither can I. BUT we can CHOOSE TODAY to believe, receive, and speak what God's Word says about each one of us.
I don't know about you but I am tired of being on this roller coaster of living and walking in defeat in some areas. I AM FED UP!!! IF You are too then pray this prayer with me.
TRANSFORMATION PRAYER: Father God, I come into Your Presence in the Name and by the Blood of Jesus the Christ. I am tired of living beneath where you have created and destined me to be. I am tired of NOT seeing your abundant life manifested in and through me. I am fed up with me. One day I am up and the next one down. Holy Spirit, I give you permission to ROCK MY WORLD and TRANSFORM me from the inside out. Give me or renew within me a passion for the WORD of God and the Presence of God. You are the ONLY One who can change me and help me walk in obedience to where You will lead and guide me. I want to participate in the changes You are making in my life. I surrender my will for Yours today. Have Your way, Lord! In Jesus' Holy and Mighty Name!!! AMEN!!!

I love you, WOV!!! But God loves you more than your mind can comprehend. As you walk through this day and ALL others take these words with you. Many times, we cannot remember the message but song lyrics will bring the words back to our minds. GOD WILL make a way. No matter what the circumstances are. This is a song that has and is ministering to me in this season. I pray it does the same for each one of you.

Choose to BELIEVE!!!
Do you know who you are? I mean REALLY know who you are.
You are God's Masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10)
You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made by God. (Psalm 139: 13)
You are More than a Conqueror. (Romans 8:37)
You are made in the image and likeness of the Trinity. (Genesis 1:26)
You are loved by God (Jeremiah 31: 3)
Now you may be looking at those words and saying to yourself or hearing in your mind that those words do not apply to me. Well, I am pleased to inform you that those words absolutely apply and belong to you. They were inspired by Your Father, God, just for you. When HE had them written HE was thinking about you and me today.
I know you have negative words that are coming at you even now. They are reminding you and you are remembering:
something negative that someone else has told you about you. (They are lies)
how you can act like someone you are not. (Put on a mask)
But, I am talking about looking into the mirror and seeing who God created you to be. I am talking about God revealing to you who you really and truly are. If you are not seeing you the way God created you then this particular blog is just for you. If you are seeing you then it will be confirmation for you. If you are somewhere in between today this post is definitely meant for you. Keep reading.
In this video clip, Lion King, Simba is reintroduced to who he REALLY is. Some of us need to be reintroduced to who we really are. As you look at this clip substitute you for Simba and his father, Mufasa, as God. The baboon represents the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher. He leads and guides us back to our Father and our identity. We, like Simba, have to go through,under,and around some dark things within us to get to Our Father, God. Like Simba, we cannot allow our situations and circumstances to defeat us. Simba was determined to follow where he was led. We have to be just as determined. Our past hurts and unforgiveness of wrongs is painful. As we hold onto those things it keeps us separated from our true identity.
When Simba looked in the water which reflected his appearance he was discouraged. But we have to choose to look harder into our mirror, which is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit opens our eyes to see Our Father and our true reflection which is Christ in us. As we look, we begin to hear our Father's voice through HIS Words telling and reminding us who we really are.
Our Father is telling each one us that we have forgotten who we are and thus forgotten HIM. We must REMEMBER WHO WE ARE!!! God knows each and every situation and circumstance we have, are, and will face. HE has already worked it out on our behalf. We must choose to believe it.
The Holy Spirit used this video to help me remember. God can and will use anything to minister to us even a cartoon. The same Word that God used to minister to me many years ago HE is using to minister to you.
You are more than what you have become.
GOD and The Holy Spirit wants you to remember who you are.

Focus on Jesus the Chist
Focus on the the Cross of Christ
Focus on HIS blood being shed for you
Focus on Him taking your punishment so you don't have to
Focus on Him going to hell in your place
Focus on Him rising with ALL power and authority
Focus on Him being in heaven interceding for you
Focus on the truth YOU ARE MORE than you have become
If you have children you want MORE for them. Your Father, God, wants more for you and me.
The ONLY perspective that matters is God's perspective. Your value can ONLY be seen through God's eyes. Choose to look in the mirror, God's Words. Speak what HE says about you until you believe what they say about you. Your reflection is Christ in you.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, I need a Savior, Jesus Christ. I openly confess that I am a sinner and need a Savior. I am asking You to forgive me of all my sins, and mistrust of You. I am asking You, Jesus, to come into my heart. As I am confessing with my mouth and believing in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Lord who came to this earth, died, and was resurrected on the third day. I choose today to receive you into my heart according to Romans 10: 9 - 10. I choose to trust you with the rest 0f my life.

This picture has major significance for me because I asked God to do something that I thought was too hard and BIG for HIM. I did not believe HE could do it. I actually set God up. But throughout the process HE kept reminding me: "With God ALL things are possible." As I kept advancing though the process no matter what. Each obstacle that was placed before me was pushed or put down by God HIMSELF.
Have you ever asked God for something that You believed was too hard for HIM to deliver?
